Specific Aims:
The purpose of this project is to utilize findings from R3b. Impact of Environmental Barriers on Everyday Mobility, to develop
guidelines and performance standards for more usable pedestrian spaces that meet the needs of people who use wheeled mobility devices.
Design guidelines will include performance standards and technical requirements for eliminating key environmental barriers to maximize
participation of people who use wheeled mobility devices.
